Hello friends and gallant wedding guests!
  What a fantastic whirlwind the past three days have been!!! Over 1,400 backers have joined in and taken the campaign over the moon, past the stars and straight into the Plane of Fey with astounding speed. This launch has been mind-blowing in every single way, and we can’t thank you enough for the support!

*** First look at some artwork ***
  Here’s one of the terrific illustrations that’ll be featured in the book: An elegant crystal wine glass, illustrated by the amazing Janna Sophia.

  These delicate glasses are commonly used at the wedding venue for guests and are overflowing with wondrous beverages of elven make. But something appears to have happened to this particular glass – it’s cracked and lying on the floor. Perhaps it has fallen from the hand of someone who suddenly became ill from drinking its contents?

  Expect more sneak peeks at artwork from the book in the upcoming updates! :)

*** Stretch goals ***
  A total of seven stretch goals have been unlocked quicker than a 20th-level rogue making their way into a broken piggy bank! Sometimes, we’ve barely had time to update the campaign page!!! Absolutely crazy!

  The results from the Backer’s Choice poll are in, and the most requested option is Legend & Lore! So we’ll uncork our ink vials, sharpen our quills, and head for the library to research some tales and traditions from Eastern Farraway! You’ll be able to read what we find in the compendium Intrigues & Intentions.

*** Livestream ***
  We’ll be interviewed live tonight in two hours by the friendly people over at Band of Badgers! The time is 9 pm, London time (GMT), and the place is https://www.twitch.tv/bandofbadgers. Come and join in as we talk about An Unexpected Wedding Invitation, the Kickstarter campaign, and much more! And there’ll be a giveaway of a set of pretty dice!

WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY WILD START!!!

Hello all friends, new and old!!!
What a crazy, phenomenal, and just plain incredible start to the campaign for An Unexpected Wedding Invitation! Our heads are positively spinning from seeing so many join in to support the book!

This adventure is one that we’ve been wanting to create for a long time: A mystery full of social encounters and dangerous intrigues, all centred on an atmospheric elvish wedding!
But would anyone be interested in this?
We had no idea, so we were almost hysterically nervous when we gingerly hit “Launch” earlier today.

And here we are, merely a few hours into the campaign, and you fantastic wonderful people have smashed your way through three stretch goals!
Let’s write that again, shall we? THREE (3!) STRETCH GOALS, passed and left in the dust faster than a romantic couple can elope to Gretna Green! :D

Meet the Bride and Bridegroom!

Hello friends and stylish swashbucklers!
First and foremost, a massive welcome to all who have joined in to support the campaign so far! We’re amazed and baffled by the crazy support for this book – this is so far and beyond what we expected that we’re struggling to put words to our bewilderment! :D

In these updates, you’ll get to follow our work as we’re writing away on the adventure and its key participants. We’ll start with presenting two very central characters. Meet the bride and the groom: Lÿsandrea Isillionthë and Lord Maximillian D’arlington, who will join hands in an Elvish wedding ceremony.

Our amazing artist Alaina Milare has finished a couple of the NPC portraits for the book and we’ll share more of her art as the project continues!

*** Stretch goals galore ***
We’ve just unlocked stretched goal #4 and Jane Austen-inspired trinkets will be added to the compendium Intrigues & Intentions. The previous stretch goal was a Backer’s Choice, which means that you can vote and decide what we’ll feature in the book.

The poll is open right now, so if you haven’t already voted, head there and let us know what you think! And as always: If you have a suggestion or idea that isn’t found among the alternatives, post your thoughts in a comment below. (Many backers' ideas have found their way into the books during previous campaigns.)

We’ve 29 days to go, four stretch goals have been unlocked, and over 500 backers (!!!) have come on board and joined us! And this is all more than a little crazy, seeing as the campaign has been live for only a day! :)

Outwit mischievous fey servants and embark on wild adventures in a strange domain known as Lotstoodoo – all while learning about ADHD! This upcoming module looks set to be a very intriguing experience:

"May I have your attention, please?" 

Such a polite question, until it’s actually a request made by a Fey needing to borrow your attention and take it away with him. Once the character’s attention has been aptly borrowed, a quest of wild shenanigans of the fey kind shall ensue, as each piece of a ritualistic puzzle can help the characters travel to the domain of Lotstoodoo and confront the trusted servant’s heartfelt trickery.
On the way, many things will occur. So many, in fact, that there’s no time to lose or we’ll all get bored.
