Endless thanks for joining the Kickstarter to create An Unexpected Wedding Invitation last year!We’re hoping that all the adventurers solved the strange incident at Silver Lodge, and that they made new lifelong friends or partners during the eventful evening!

We’ve just launched a brand new Kickstarter campaign forThe Mystery of the Cursed Statuette – a 5E detective adventure inspired by Sherlock Holmes!
Summary: In the dead of the night, a burglary takes place at the Halls of Lore in Winterhold, and a small porcelain figurine is stolen.
Since the town’s guard is busy with a series of kidnappings, Sergeant Aramina Thornberry is looking for a group of private detectives who can help her solve the crime.
However, the investigation soon turns into a deadly chase. Before it is over, the characters will come across a cursed statuette, secret societies – and a dangerous primordial demon.
Can you solve the case before more blood is spilled on Winterhold’s foggy streets?
The book will contain the following:
➛ The adventure The Mystery of the Cursed Statuette
➛ The Magpie Secret Society, a compendium with all unlocked stretch goals
➛ Bespoke vintage character sheets with illustrations inspired by Sherlock Holmes
As always, we’re including a free VTT pack with tokens, gridless maps, and digital handouts so that the adventures can easily be played online.
Can your players unravel the shadowy plot and save the town from an ancient curse before it’s too late?

We’ve just launched a new Kickstarter campaign for Hunter’s Full Moon Trilogy, a book with three adventures set in the wild for 5E!

Weekly Update and a Sneak Peek…!

Hello all friends and accomplished adventurers! This is your weekly (and possibly last) update about An Unexpected Wedding Invitation!
*** The printed book *** The gnomes’ printing presses have been whirring and spinning around the clock, and all books have now been sent out! Depending on where in the world you live, some of the books will take a little longer to reach your doorstep, but your copy is in the making or already on its way. :)
An important note about the invoices: we’ve heard from several backers who have received paper invoices together with their book saying the book costs a rather stunning 10,000 dollars! While we think that the amazing artwork in the book definitely is worth a lot, this is obviously wrong. We have no idea why this has happed, and we’ve contacted DriveThruRPG so that they can look into it.
Also, if you haven’t received a confirmation email, don’t worry - we’ve sent out a few hundred copies manually, which means some will receive their books right away without getting a confirmation email first!
*** A sincere thank you *** An absolutely colossal THANK YOU for joining in this project!!! Never in our wildest dreams had we expected that this adventure would receive such massive support – it’s been a truly unbelievable journey! We’re stunned, we’re overjoyed, and we’re endlessly thankful!!!

*** The adventure continues *** Midnight Tower never (or at least very rarely) sleeps! We’ll be back with a new project on Kickstarter this autumn – and it’s something we’ve looked forward to for a long, long time! We’re going back to the beginning, and we hope to see you all at The Gray Hare… :)

Hello friends and romantic mystery-solvers! This is your weekly update about An Unexpected Wedding Invitation.
*** The printed book *** This week has seen a mad flurry of activity in the Midnight Tower! Thousands of addresses have been formatted and our owls in the loft have carried countless messages far and abroad.
The gnomes’ printing presses are currently spinning at full speed, and the huge majority of books have now been sent out!
If you haven’t received your confirmation email yet, have no fear – we’re still working on sending out the last books. In case you haven’t received your order confirmation email by next week, let us know at [email protected] and we’ll investigate!
*** The Collector’s Edition *** It has been full-on packing frenzy here in the tower! Last night, we stayed up way after midnight until 1.30 am packing and labelling the final boxes while listening to music from the 90s.
Here is a time-lapse video of a Collector’s box packed in our kitchen by our youngest daughter. She is our in-house Collector’s Edition Packing Expert! :)
The delivery courier DPD picked up all the boxes this morning and they’re on their way right now – so keep an eye out for email or text notifications.
Oh, and if you ordered an add-on adventure with your Collector’s Edition, these are sent out separately directly from DriveThruRPG!
