*** Changing your pledge ***
If you want to upgrade or downgrade your pledge before the campaign is over, you can click on “Manage your pledge” on the campaign page.
In difference to our previous Kickstarters, there is no additional cost for basic printing cost. However, there is an additional cost for shipping of hardcover and softcover books, which will be collected in Backerkit’s pledge manager after the campaign has ended.
For digital rewards and for the Collector’s Edition there are no additional shipping costs.
If you’re in a country in which shipping might be uncertain or if you are unsure if you can afford a physical reward, you can always pledge for a PDF. :)

The tiny dragon has a name!

Hello friends and all chivalrous campaign-companions!
*** The pseudodragon has a name! ***
We’ve rolled the Dice of Destiny, and the little courageous dragon finally has a name! We actually planned to roll the dice yesterday, but we were delayed because we’ve received a massive cast-iron cauldronfulof terrific suggestions! :D
We received nearly 300 name suggestions, and that’s quite a lot of names!
So it took us a long time to write all the names down. Once that was sorted out, we used Tove’s favourite D&D dice set to decide which of all the excellent names to pick, as you can see in the video above. :)
We’re happy to announce and share with you all that the name of the bookish pseudodragon will be…Dizzy!
Dizzy lives in the library at Silver Lodge, near Argentïs Falls where the elvish wedding will take place. The blue little dragon likes to sleep on top of a thick book on the highest bookshelf in the library, and it keeps a keen eye on visitors.
A huge thank you for all the ideas – we loved reading them all!!!
*** The campaign ***
This morning, we woke up to find that the campaign now has over a wonderful and indisputably phenomenal 4,500 backers! That’s just unbelievable!!!!!! We can’t thank youenough for joining in on this sky-bound project. You’ve taken it much farther than we ever expected! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

*** New artwork ***
We’d like to share new artwork that Tove has illustrated for the book! This time, it’s a magical potion called Hollowheart,and above you can see how the illustration took form, from the first sketch to the final drawing. The artwork will be featured in the Lover’s Apothecary, part of the compendium Intrigues & Intentions.
Hollowheart is a potion known only by a few and greatly feared. This dreaded magic concoction has been used by several unscrupulous and jealous rivals to ruin relationships in the hope to win someone’s heart and hand. It is said that its powers have caused long-lasting feuds between noble families and thrown entire royal courts into despair.
However, for some, the potion can be used for other reasons, and it could be the only way to mend a broken heart.
Here’s the description from the book:
This magic potion causes romantic emotions to disappear. If you drink this potion, you must make a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw. On a successful save, the potion has no effect. On a failed save, any romantic feelings that you may harbour cease to exist.
In addition, your capacity for falling in love is suppressed magically for one year and one day. The effect can be removed by using the spells greater restoration, remove curse, or wish.
The potion is faintly green in colour and tastes like a bland sparkling wine. It is usually stored in a slim vial and kept in a padlocked wooden case.
*** Dragons and VTT questions ***
In the previous update, we asked for name suggestions for the little pseudodragon that’ll feature in the adventure and we also asked you for advice about VTT. While we’ve played online during the last couple of years, we’re complete beginners at using VTT platforms and it was great to get so much feedback!!!! :)
Within just a few hours, we’d received an absolute trading caravan’s worth of brilliant name ideas, and they just keep coming! We’ve had endless fun reading all the fantastic suggestions – there are so many great and funny ones. We’re really happy for the fantastic feedback, and we look forward to rolling the dice to find the pseudodragon’s true name! :)
And on top of that, you also gave us a wagonload of excellent advice about VTT! This is super helpful and helped us decide what to do next. We’ve decided to upload our Lovecraftian mystery adventure What Happened to Evy Ashwood? to Roll20 as a first step. We’ve received more terrific artwork from Alaina Milare! We’re pleased to introduce Morgen Lavender, a masterful bard who has travelled far to entertain the guests at the elvish wedding ceremony. Once again, Alaina has captured Morgen perfectly, and we suspect that he’ll be a memorable visitor at the wedding.
The bard Morgen is charismatic, an excellent musician, and has a voice that makes birdsong pale in comparison. He is also quite aware of this, and his confidence is as solid as a dwarven treasure chest.
But what thoughts hide behind his winning smile and gold-tinted speech? And what secrets does the highly connected and well-travelled bard keep? The players might find out as the evening unfolds!

Hello friends, merrymakers and mystery-solvers!
*** Name the tiny dragon ***
We’re about to name one of the more unusual guests at the elvish wedding ceremony: A cute little pseudodragon! While no larger than a cat, and not much more dangerous, this adorable little fellow has the heart and courage to match those of an ancient red dragon. The pseudodragon is the familiar of one of the wedding guests, but it’s naturally curious, mischievous, and more than happy to dip its little snout into other people’s business. :)
But what should we call it?
We need your help to decide on the pseudodragon’s name! :D

*** Virtual Tabletop***
We would also like to ask you a question about Virtual Tabletop and online gaming. Ever since we started to create adventures, we’ve wanted to make them available on one or more VTT platforms. However, we have very little experience with them, and we don’t really know which one most people use?
So we thought we’d ask you: If you game online, which VTT platform would you recommend? All thoughts welcome – we’re total beginners in this department! :)
